Mindset Mondays with DTK – Ep #050 – Yes, we are all going to die. And that is a good thing!I was gobsmacked when I learned that the first person likely to live to 150 years old is already living on this planet! Even though we have, through medical advancements and understanding of science, dramatically extended the human lifespan, we have yet to eliminate death. Neither have we cracked the code on truly living. Sir William Wallace laid that out that truth in 1305:"Everybody dies, but not everybody lives."The awareness of one's own mortality can be paralyzing for some. I find it oddly reassuring and even motivating. The knowledge that my time is finite combined with my belief that possibility is infinite allows me to lean into what's important: connection, calling, impact … and being present to the moment. THAT enables me to really LIVE!What are you living for?

The knowledge that my time is finite combined with my belief that possibility is infinite allows me to lean into what’s important: connection, calling, impact … and being present to the moment. THAT enables me to really LIVE!
