Episode #131 — Daylight is where creation lives.

Back-to-back-to-back. That’s what my Mondays have looked like for the last many weeks. On a couple of Mondays, that extended into the late evening. Now that wouldn’t be a problem if that was only on Mondays and only for a brief stretch. But over the last three weeks, more and more of the days in my week have started to look the same.

When I looked at my calendar for this week, there was no daylight in my day!

“We all need empty hours in our lives or we will have no time to create or dream.”
— Robert Coles

And therein lay the problem. There were no empty hours. Just chock-full ones. No wonder I was feeling stifled. I was so caught up in the doing of my world that I left no time open for … being open!

Granted, with a book launch less than two weeks away there is a lot of doing to be done. AND … I still need time for creating and for dreaming and for thinking and for inventing and for … BEING.
