Mindset Mondays with DTK – Ep #169 — Hidden In Plain Sight!

#SimpleTruth: Events are neutral and occur independent of meaning. It is only after something happens that we attach meaning.

And that’s both good news and bad news for the same reason: you are in complete control over how you experience your world.

The lens through which you choose to see your world shapes and determines what you see and how you experience it.

In sharing the wisdom of Hans Christian Andersen, I choose to point my lens at the possibility alive in that truth:

“The world is a series of miracles, but we’re so used to seeing them that we call them ordinary things.”
— Hans Christian Andersen

There are so many miracles in my life ready for me to see … Waking up next to my wife, liking my children (love is the easy part!), weekly 3-generation Shabbos blessings-by-zoom, a dog door, the work I get to do in this world, awesome neighbors, vaccines, a super computer in my pocket, and so many more … some big, some small … and ALL of them fuel me.

What miracles do you see hidden in plain sight?
